BPPV is usually when an individual is changing position of the head with respect to gravity. For example; rolling over in bed, getting out of bed, or moving their neck up to looking up towards the sky. It is thought there is small build-up of crystals which has collected and not cleared in the sensitive inner ear.
Aspire Physio Claremont can make a diagnosis based on an individual’s history, physical examination where we assess different head positions and whether symptoms are brought on with lying down. We work closely with your GP to manage any symptoms that may require any further investigations.
